I'm currently having a bit of trouble sourcing an air pressure sensor to fit inside my bagpipes (!). I have figured out that the pressure inside the bag is about 50 inches if water, which is about 1.8 PSI.
However, the problem I'm having is finding a sensor which can measure the pressure to within about 0.01 PSI.
The lowest possible value I have found so far is about 5 PSI, but I'm thinking that it may be too high in value to provide a precise output, but...
Would the outside pressure of about 15 PSI affect the pressure within the bag? I'm guessing that the two are not added together, but is there some sort of influence?
I'm having real trouble sourcing an appropriate sensor, and it struck me that I may be looking for something which doesn't exist...
