o'm new on this site and i want ask how can i generat a clock to an adc0816 to work as a ADC and how to synchorize it with n 8 bit p-in s-out shift register

 

If you have a data sheet, you will see that the ADC is self-contained. You just need to start the conversion - http://www.national.com/mpf/DC/ADC0816.html#Overview

At any time after the conversion, you can use some logic and the Output Enable to latch the conversion into the shift register. The serial shift is at your convenience.
