    Hi,

I've been researching various analogue multiplier IC's and comparing characteristics of each, like the AD633 and MPY100. I've found a schematic for the MPY100, and it seems to be of the Gilbert cell type.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the AD633 is of the same type? I've had a good look around but haven't been able to find much, though that could be because i'm looking in the wrong places!

If anyone could help i'd be really greatful!
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello,

    Do you have the schematic?
As far as I can tell the MPY100 has a Z part in the equation and the AD633 not.
I do not know if the Z part is used in the schematic.

    Greetings,
    Bertus

hi, no i've been unable to find the schematic. The data sheet doesn't seem to give a schematic, only the functionality of the multiplier http://www.stanford.edu/class/ee122/Parts_Info/datasheets/ad633.pdf

Having looked at the MPY100 datasheet, they both seem to have the same transfer function, but i cannot seem to find what the multiplying core entails.

    Thanks again
