I was wondering if anyone knows if there will ever be a completed edition of the 3rd volume from AACs and also if someone could direct me to a link from which I can read and understand the active filters. The ones I found so far are either too short or not very descriptive or comprehensive. Thank you.

Go check the TI (ex National, ex Buyrr-Brown) web site for Active Filter App Notes and free software.

Here's an old (but updated) handbook on active filters that covers the subject fairly well.

Do the equations in that pdf look ok? (or is my computer missing some font file)?

The ones I glanced at look okay. Are all the equations bad or just some (which page)?

On page 13 ... for example, it appears the subscript of y identified I1a and 11a and that error is repeated in both the I1b, I2a, and I2b subscripts.

I haven't looked closely at the other pages ... but that type of error could be common, especially if they did an OCR scan of an original document.
