hi everybody..i have homework to design accelerometer can anyone help me from where to start i hav no idea about accelerometers know only that it measures acceleration of motors no experience to design..which sensors to use..or where can i find sample circuit diagram of accelerometer?

 

Do you need to design an accelerometer; or a circuit based around an accelerometer?

Accelerometers are used to measure acceleration, irrespective of the application; although they could be used to measure the acceleration of a motor.

You will need to give a bit more information for me or anyone else to provide anything further! What are you specifically trying to measure (assuming you're designing the circuit and not the accelerometer!)? How many axes? What is your background in electronics?
