Hello everyone,
I happen to have a spare PIC16F73 on my hands, as well as an AC PSC (permanent split capacitor) motor that needs variable speed.
What's the easiest way to electronically control the speed of a PSC motor? The input would be a simple variable resistor or rheostat.
What would be the way to go about this? I have no idea where to start.
(By the way, this forum rocks! There's such a wealth of information in the info pages, I could be reading for hours.)
