about fuse fuse

hello,

i has a fuse rated 250 VAC and 30 amperes but someboday said, it wont work. but it works with a 12 volt car battery and 12 volt light...

no problem just works :D just the same... :D

is it ok is it ok but have some safety problems? u.u

Yes, there are safety problems. Fuses have voltage ratings for a reason - it means that the element will blow open at that voltage. Using a 250 volt fuse in a low voltage circuit means the fuse may not open on a fault, giving no protection.

You should look for an automotive fuse instead. They will open reliably at 12 volts. That 30 amp rating will not be a problem.

but in Philppines, it is very hard to find like that. :( they said it's very rare u.u... :)

anyway, no problem about 30 amp? but it is ok to use the fuse? just for design? :D

Huh? What? Might want to study Voltage Ratings of fuses a bit more.
