I'm not thinking spam, but a list of mail order houses listed according to country. I didn't want to start such a thread without asking, and here are some potential rules...

1. Must be posted by members only, graphics to a minimum.

2. Basically no gripping about a company or poor service. Well, maybe a specific case, but don't dwell on it, that is not the threads intent.

3. Email addresses, company addresses, phone numbers, websites, and general product descriptions. Also what countries they will service.

If such a thread is allowed I would like to start it, and then edit the first post (mine) to add followup comments to the list, so you don't have to scan the whole thread to get every company.

What do you think?

Hello,

Good idea.
We sometimes get requests where they can get the parts.
It is also good if only members or senior members can post in this area.
So members who have posted more than 50 posts.(they have shown some feelings for the forum).
In this way you can limit spam.( a kind of restricted area).
It is good to split them into the regio they do deliver goods.
There are members all over the world.

Greetings,
Bertus

Betcha get Erics vote.

What part of the world do they service? It's not obvious.

I suspect Dave has been pretty busy lately.

I live in the UK and my previous school and college use Rapid [rapidonline.com].
I used them the other day and they provided a very good service for me. I ordered 5pm one day and got it the next day with free delivery.

Sounds good. Right now I'm waiting for approval from Dave, he's been gone almost a week. Betcha he's got another work project going.
