I have a very simple Diode problem.
I am unable to solve the problem as I am missing to see
    something very obvious/simple.
Please help me on how to arrive at the solution and let me know how to approach.
I have attached the image of the problem.

    Thanks in Advance.

You need to determine at what point in time the diode becomes forward biased.

If you are not sure what an 'ideal diode' is, look it up.

Under what conditions is the diode forward biased?

What voltage does the ramped supply need to output in order for those conditions to be met?

At what time does the ramped supply output that voltage?

Now YOU need to show YOUR best attempt to work YOUR homework problem.

Once Vs is greater than VB, it starts to conduct.

    Done.
