Alec_t has it right. Use a wiper or window motor with a normally open microswitch riding on a cam. It will keep the motor running until the roller drops into a notch. A normally open push button switch (door bell) will start the motor again until the microswitch takes over again. It will stop at each notch.If the angle and rotation speed aren't critical you could probably use a simple geared brushed DC motor with 3 cam-operated microswitches at 120° intervals.
