hi, currently I was searching whether i can use hysteresis control as a controller to control pulse width modulation(pwm) using pic18f4550. Is there anyone know or can give me advice on how do i start the coding?

In short, yes you can. What are you trying to control, how frequently can you update and how long does it take for your system to respond to your new input?

i'm not sure about what you are saying. But in this case i want to control my output voltage from the buck converter. My input is 12V and i want to produce 5V. Forcefully, i want the pwm to be in the this range.

Are you trying to make a DC to DC converter with a PIC controlling the feedback loop?
