If you limit the current properly, then the LED will never see the higher voltage because the only way to limit the current properly is for the current limiting device to take up the excess voltage.

1) Consider starting your own thread and not hijacking someone else's. Having said that, I'm certainly in no position to be absolutist on this point! But at least be aware that you need to make clear what it is you are trying to do, say, ask, recommend, or whatever.

2) What does "asking suggestion" mean? Are you asking a question, or making a suggestion? I realize that we have an English-as-second-language issue here and that it is simply something that has to be dealt with, but that actually means you need to work harder to make your intentions clear. There's only so much reading between the lines and infering your real intent that we can do.
