I'm new to wireless, that's why I need help. I want to monitor and control some simple electronics via WiFi. I don't know where to start.
I've seen some serial (i've worked with serial) to wifi developement kits but I'm not sure if that's the way to go.
It would make more sense to me if there was a wireless module the had a microcontroller on it that would send the data out wirelessly.
I want to start simple. I just want to monitor voltage and be able to send a command to open/close a relay. Then I can expand the application from there. Does any body know of a decent 802.11 board/kit that would help me accomplish this.
