I am using two 74193 counters to count up to 60, and reset when they hit 60. I have a 3 input AND-gate (7411) reading in 3 of the values for 60 and then a 2 input AND-gate (7408) reading in the output of the other chip and then the other value to hit 60. Then both counters reset is tied to the output of the 7408 chip. But the counters reset early at 47. I have put in a capacitor on the line leading to the reset of the chips which helps remove any peaks but then messes with the reset of the chips, any ideas?
