I've set a 555 up to be an astable circuit leading into a bcd counter (4510) I'm just not sure if my trigger input for my 555 comes from the output of a 741....Please someone help

do you have a schematic of your spectrum analyzer? Its amazing the knowledge some people have...but thank you...I think I was right ..the output of a 741 needs to go to the trigger of a 555 in a binary counter circuit in order to display my digital code on a segment display

If you look at my blogs you will find the schematics for the spectrum analyzer. To trigger the 555 you dont really need a 741, you can do it by using a simple switch unless you want another circuit to control the 555. If you have a schematic with your idea it would be helpful.
