    Description

Build an astable circuit that flashes an LED with one of the most popular ICs ever made, the 555 timer! It is so called the 555 timer as inside the chip there are three resistors in a row all having a value of 5k. In this circuit the 555 is configured to flash an LED where the rate of flashing is controlled by the potentiometer. This kit is fantastic for those who are new to electronics!

Why not use both halves, like I did in my design? Not just a blinky, but a alternate blinky?
