50 & 75 ohm BNC connector

    Dear all,

    I have a box of BNC connector mixed with 50 & 75ohm BNC connectors in the company wokshop, my boss ask me to seperate it.

    But I have problem sort it out as it all look the same.

    Do anyone of you know how to differentiate a 50 & 75 ohm BNC connector?

    And is there any different between a 50 & 75 ohm BNC connector.:confused:

    Most of the time, 50 ohm center conductors have a bit more rounded center conductor, while 75 ohm connectors have a center conductor that comes to a sharp point. This is a lot easier to see than the relative diameters. :)
