    Hey guys

I need to step 3V DC or 5V DC up to 90-100V AC. I had a small box(2xAA battery) that could do it, but I wanted smaller. By taking it apart(and
destroying it) I could see that there was a small unnamed transformer.

Any advice how to do this/where to get such a small transformer?

    Thanks!

By the way, it's for EL wire !

I need enough for 20-30 cm

That supertex is 3mm x 3mm? I'm never going to be able to solder that lol :)

MSOP is really not that difficult when it comes to SMD. Give it a try if you think this chip suits your needs.

You also should be able to get MSOP sockets.

    Hi Nicholas,
Why did taking it apart, destroy it?
