But what am I congratulating you for?
He got the best/highest type of Bachelor's degree for engineering possible - equivalent to around 70% overall (could be slightly different for Mitch's uni). You then get a '2:1' for 60%, '2:2' for 50%, '3rd' for 40%.

Now an engineer. :)

I got my results for the end of first year - averaged about 95%. Quite pleased with that, though I expect second year will be harder. In the process of something potentially quite cool... Will post back if it works out. :D

But seriously, kudos to you!

Seriously though, Mitch, to get a decent result in first year is one thing, but to actually have a first is another! Big congrats!

Where do you see yourself going now? Are you doing an MEng? Going straight into a PhD? Work? :D

I've just seen you were studying at Warwick! :O

I've been about 1/2 a mile away from you for the past year in Coventry. :D Small world...

Managed to get myself into Nottingham for my second year, so I won't be so close anymore.
