Hello guys i have to design 32bit bidirectional level shiftter from 3.3v to 5v
input levels : CMOS.
output levels: CMOS.
Can you help my with some of this questions:
1. Which IC i have to use?
2. How exactly to do 32 bit?
3. What is neccery to connect for check is my scheme working?

Please post your attempt to work the problem. After all, it is YOUR homework problem. This is the Homework Help forum, not the Homework Done For You forum. So post your best attempt and we will help guide you from there toward a solution, but you will need to do most of the work -- which seems only fair since you will be receiving all the credit.

 

The problem is that i don't know the method to do it.
I know i have to choose IC but i don't know which will be correct.
I know that when i choose IC , probbaly will be 8bit and i have to take 4 of this IC. I have to do it , but i don't know how to work with IC.
I don't want anyone to do my work, i just need advices how to start it!

Well, a failry obvious place to start is doing a Google search for, say, "level shifter". If you explore the first few links that come up, I bet you will either be able to answer your question yourself or at least get a much beffer feel for what the lay of the landscape is so that you can make a decent attempt and be able to ask much more detailed questions.

 

One problem you might have is finding stuff that is 5V compliant. A lot of that stuff has been discontinued.

What speed are you trying to run these signals at? If it is slow enough, one option is to do it resistively.

 

If you search for "3.3v to 5v level shifter ic", you get several relevant hits.
I guess it's just too obvious.

Yeah, I guess I was a little harsh. Apparently searching skills come with experience, just like everything else. I doubt they teach it in school.
