Not sure if I'm even in the right place to ask but have been banging my head against the wall for sooo long...

I have a Mk1 30 amp electric Aga which has it's main core temp governed by switching the main neutral feed to the elements by means of a triac, this triac had a poor spade connection which caused it to melt the triac, in turn putting excess current back down the triac gate feed and blowing the contol unit. Diamond H Control is the make of the unit. I found and replaced two burnt resistors but still no luck.

Does anyone know of a company or clever chap who could repair or replace this unit?

Did you ever get the help you needed? I ask because I am in the same position!

There is an outfit that does replacement controllers for the Mk 1, and I am pursuing that route . . .
