    Hi
I have a 12V pump and I would like to add a simple 30sec timer delay so that it stops and starts every 30 secs. Do you know where I can buy a simple very cheap canned solution that I can connect to the pump/12V power !
    Many Thanks

The problem is the "simple very cheap".

How cheap does it have to be?

So many choices... According to the datasheet THIS can be configured as astable multivibrator and works with 12V DC.(but I think it needs a socket...

Contact rating may not be sufficient depending on your pump. In this case you can connect a simple power relay in series with the timer contacts.

How much current does this pump draw?

Your cheapest solution is gonna be to use a 555 astable multivibrator timer

Gee, I think I answered a thread just like this that disappeared.

    30 sec on/30 sec off?
