I have 3.5v only from my pc at parallel port that cause the stepper motor works roughly , when i plugged 5v to the driver the motor work smoothly

 

You should be very happy that you still have a working printer port. A printer port can only supply a limited amount of current. At the best around 5 mA I will guess.

 

So...the implication is that you should use buffers of some sort with an external 5 V (or whatever is needed) to power the buffers.
