Hey everyone!

I'm working on a project that involves LVDS input signals up to 250 MHz and the idea would be to use a comparator to convert to TTL signals. Ideally all works with 5V voltage suply.

I have been looking for some components that fill these requirements but my search has not been very successful. Maybe I'm thinking in the wrong way, but I'm just looking for propagation delay on the datasheets that is below 4ns. Any suggestions?

What TTL circuits work at 250MHz?

 

The application will have input trigger signal as short as 5 ns and we need to convert to ttl to be compatible with some components.

 

A LVDS line receiver such as this should work. Its maximum speed is near you limit but the only faster devices I found work on 3.3V not 5V, as shown here.
