    Which PLC?

Does the PLC has transistor or relay outputs?

Do you know where to find its datasheet online?

You can use a transistor to make your job. Connect the transistor base to the output of the PLC via a 2K2 resistor, its emitter to ground and the load between the collector and 5V.
