2 wire led string blink bypass

Hi all. I just bought a couple of set of these http://www.da-share.com/circuits/2-wire-led-strings/ and want to put them on a timer that controls the mains power to the controllers. They have a "steady on" setting but its the 7th option. Any idea how to by pass the flasher on this unit. I have read a couple of posts on the web but they are for older units and none look like mine.

They are the same as below. I'm wondering could I take the feeds from the transformer which seems to be already converted to DC and connect directly to the outpots to the LEDs. I'm new to all this.
