For my Microcomputer Systems class i'm asked to design,wire a 2-Bit ALU, using 74ls173 IC's and a 7 segment display and a full adder. I have no clue where to start, as there are no further instructions. I guess I need to know for 1, how do I design an ALU. We use Multisim. And what chip makes the ALU add, subtract etc? How do I make the chip perform these functions? Thanks to whoever can help!

Get the data sheet for the '173. While you're at it, get one for a '181 as well.
