I have not built a nixie clock for awhile.
that would about cover the cost of the components.

yeah, i would build a nixie clock and power supply.

If I had none, I would get an o'scope. Analog or digital.

If we are talking about where I am now, I would get a better function generator.

 

There is always something I am convinced I need. That's about $235 CDN. I just spent that much (or a teeny bit more) on re-stocking my transistors. I cannot begin to do justice to the list of items that I could twist my arm to buy if I had $235 lying around colleting dust.
