I'm just a newbie in this forum and I just want to ask about a simple design of a 100W power inverter using a PWM pure sinusoidal wave form. I have a background on power electronics but I still need some of your advices.

My power source is a Fuel cell, the characteristics of this is the output varies always with the input (hydrogen, oxygen).

I'm just wondering if anybody of you made an inverter with this type of power source, the fuel cell. I already made a boost DC-DC converter, from 12Vdc to 24Vdc and tried to invert it to 230Vac, 50Hz but the efficiency is just around 50 - 60 %.

Could you please help me to design a high efficiency power inverter? I'm trying to aim around 90% but I know it's really hard. But with advices from you, lower than 90% would be great.

For that light power, something based on an audio amp driven by a sine oscillator might do.
