12V to 18V via AC to DC converter

    The important requirement needed is how much current (amps/ma) or power (watts) is being used in a circuit.

    Ac to dc converters are listed as (for example) 12 volts dc @ (lets say) 600ma.
    This means that when the circuit is drawing 600ma, the supply will be delivering 12 volts worth of push, demand more current and the voltage will drop accordingly.

    What are you trying to run with the batteries? We will be able to assist with pleasure.

    if you are using this for basic experimenting or hobby, you might want to invest in a 12 volt, 5 amp power supply or perhaps a 0 to 30 volt power supply, depending on your level of interests.
