hi people
can any one help me please. my knowlage of electronics is a newbe.
i need to make a pwm unit. power supply is 12v dc from a cars power supply. the unit is to give a pulse effect to 12v dc led strips. the strips are around 10m long.

please help as my head is starting to implode. thanks

 

look into the 555 IC (search bill marsden on this forum and look at his blog)
then use a transistor on the output to switch on your thingies.
