I want to find a wall transformer that i can plug in and power a small 12v dc gear motor. It doesn't need to charge a battery or anything, just run the motor. any suggestions?

If you need less than 500 mAmps, check radio shack or any electronics store for $5 to $12.

If you need multi-amp supply, you can easily convert an ATX power supply from a computer (3.3, 5 and 12 volt outputs). Most supply 7 to 20 amps of 12 volt power.
These are free on old computers or $20 for a cheap one. Prices go up from there depending on the 12 volt current you need.
