127 biased format

    How can we use 127 biased format in binary arithmetic ??

    The adders don't care what your numbers represent so you can add +127 to each number before it goes into the ALU, see what comes out and adjust accordingly. I'm not sure why you would want to do this, but maybe you could elaborate.

    Actually, I am new student of Digital Logic and Design, so, this was my homework, that's why, I were asking this question.

    Well then I suppose that you might want to know the answer and should keep looking because I don't know why you might want to do this.

    You should post in the Homework Forum so responders don't simply give you the answer.

    Post the homework problem as it was given to you, describe/show what you've done, and ask relevant clarifying questions.

    I don't understand the question...
