I just moved to the Catskills mts ny. I was remenbering how much fun that I had with 11m when I was a kid. I would like to build a beacon, that has a closed loop recorded meassage. The meassage would have information on how to contact me, and what kind of interest there is in the area for a radio net. I would like to run it on 12v. I would interface the circuit through the mike ph jack. I was thinking of some type of 555 timers and relays. One min of meassage time and one min of off time. I,m new to this site, But I love it already! Thanks for you time. You friend Johnny 5002:confused:

Why not get your Ham Radio license? Just in case you don't know morse code is no longer a requirement, in case that was ever an issue. Lots of bands, modes, and nets to play with. :)
