These days, low power usually means Class D, a switching power supply approach to an audio power amp. If you are building this from scratch, the TDA 2003 is an excellent part. Been around forever, very robust, tons of circuits and app notes on the web. Caution - like almost all audio power amp chips, it is sensitive to layout and decoupling, and can break into oscillation without attention to detail.

eBay here sorts "Class D" +"10 watts" as 10 inch speakers, 10 watt analog amps, 100 watt amps, 1000 watt amps, etc. by the hundreds. Very difficult to sort through dozens of pages of the wrong results.

But of course. Wonder where the output of that would rate on the Richter Scale?

Don't search ebay for ebay items! I think their search is crooked.

Search google for ebay. ie; google for "ebay class D 10W"

Just a nifty trick that eliminates ebay's internal corruption. :)
