The IC XB4301D (LINK BELOW) is a "One Cell Lithium-ion/Polymer Battery Protection IC" and there are many chinese companies producing this kind of protection ICs for 1-cell li-ion.
It is placed beetween a Li-Ion and a power supply input.

Some of its features are:

- Battery Overdischarge Protection (UVLO)
- Only One External Capacitor Required (Good)
- Overcharge Current Protection
- Over-temperature Protection
- Ultra-small SOT23-5 Package

Somebody know similar ICs, but produced by an know company like texas, national ST, linear technology????
If it uses only one external component like XB4301D do and have at least battery overdischarge protection (UVLO) function is enough for me.

Motorola made the ones used in the Sony Li battery packs when they first came out. National Semi had a similar chip internally called "Li Pro" under development when I worked there, but last I heard the idiot designer couldn't figure out any way to test ii in production so they had no way to release it. They may have figured that out by now.

I have implemented the Same but it doesn't work. ....no load ..output voltage appears. ..with load no output. ..why
