    Hello dears,

I am looking for a 1.27 mm to 2.54 mm pitch adapter, so I have a 1.27 mm pitch 6 pins IC and I have to connect it to a 2.54 pitch connector..

De ideal adapter should have this pin-out:

Do you know where I can find this kind of adapter ?
I looked at RS and futurlec but I cannot find it. :(

    Thank you in advance.

    :)

You could either make the board, or buy the appropriate pin headers and simply solder wires and fasten them somehow.

There is a some chance that Sparkfun has such a thing. It is at least worth a try.

Well, I bought one from proto-advantage.

    The 2.54 mm pitch connector is not for a 3 x 2 pin array but for 6 x 2.
I will place a ribbon connector and I think it will be fine.

I prefer this solution because the 1.27 mm pads are very close to each other so I feel more secure buying it rather than making one by my self..

You can get custom cables from Raven Cables.
I used them when rewiring my audio system in my car, but they suply all kinds of custom cables.
