use load resistors for AC or DC voltage

Hi,

I know load resistors can be used for AC or DC application, but for accurate measurement and reading, should we use in separate application for AC or for DC voltage?
For example: If I have a Coil Resistor rating 660W, 120vac, this is a load for AC application. If I use this AC load (660W, 120vac) to connect 54Vdc system, what is the disadvantage for measurement or affect anything? Should be used or not recommend for using?
Thanks

For 50/60Hz and DC, wire-wound resistors are just fine. Wire-wound resistors have a sizable self-inductance, so are not suitable for frequencies where their reactance is significant.

I would need to know what you mean by "Coil Resistor" before I could answer.

A part number & link would be best.
