Hi

what is the purpose of these three holes on the armature ??



The armature is from a universal motor used in a electric drill

pedantic response :)

rotor is wound soldered and epoxy applied, then sent to a balancing machine for a 'wheel' alignment. anything that spins and has a some mass needs to be balanced.
