Relay contact form

Anyone happen to know if a minature relay with a form A contact rating can be replaced with a form C version.

My understanding is form A is a SPST-NO

Whereas form C is a SPDT, where the common pin is normally connected to one of the contacts (de-energized), and then flips over to the other contact upon energizing the coil.

That is also correct.
