Transformer in a compact DC to AC inverter

Foreword: I’m aware that inverters, which produce 110vac, can be dangerous. More in this thread.

Colleagues,

It’s surprising how compact modern DC to AC inverters are. Here’s a photo comparing a 65W off the shelf inverter to a 60Hz transformer rated for 12VA. (I’ve tested both of them and ratings are close to the actual performance.)

The topology of the inverter is similar to this one.

The transformer in this inverter is operating at 30kHz (not at 60Hz). Higher frequency drives the size of the transformer down.

Which manufacturers could be making transformer like that (moderate frequency, moderate power)?
I’m looking into audio transformers, but I haven’t found the right one yet. I’m aware that I can wind one myself, but I’d prefer to buy a ready made one.

Any suggestion, insight or reference is really appreciated!
BTW, on another forum I came across an interesting definition of a transformerless inverter:
The term Transformerless dose imply that there is no bulky 50 or 60 Hz transformer in the inverter circuit, however there may be a few high freq transformers and choke of much smaller dimensions in the circuit.
Best,
- Nick
