hi,
are you going to use all those chips you listed to make a digital clock, when you can make a digiclock with just 3 chips.

Hi,
Mozikluv's three chip solution is the better one to go for. Most of your TTL chips are out of production (7402, 7414, 7490, 7476) and hard to find. What's the 555 for? The usual source for the timebase is the power transformer. You take off one side with a diode and pad it down through a resistor and zener diode.
