Black Eyed Peas are my favourite pop band by far.
I still enjoy Cranberries and Stranglers alot too.

Benny Benassi and Moby can set your mood very easilly, though.

Loosewire,

When I played the peas during a pool game two weeks ago, a 20 something member of the team asked if I played it. I guess a 58 year old can't enjoy the video or the music of the peas. I know of another older pool player ... probably in his 70s that taps his feet when he hears the peas on the box.

I told the 20 something person that his profiling techniques need updating, cause it failed him.

Edie Brickell is probably better known for her video (good times) on the window 95 CDs ... used to showcase windows media player. That long legged Texan can sing. She's married to Paul Simon. There are people who carried that video through every OS they had ... as did I. And here's Edie ...

My current running playlist?

Rolling in the Deep - Adele
Effington - Ben Folds
Brighter than Sunshine - Aqualung
Champagne Supernova - Oasis
Don't Let Me Fall - Lenka
Go do - Jonsi
Stand Up - Flobots
New Soul - Yael Naim
The Distance - Cake

Hmmm. There is no continuity to my music taste.
