Hi,

What does the parameters in data sheet of any digital component like
input capacitance Cin and
power dissipation capacitance Cpd signifies....?

and how should we consider them while doing analysis of that component that is whether it is good to have larger value of these parameters or they should be smaller ?

Input capacitance is the equivalent capacitance present on the input of the device. It helps with determining the drive capability necessary for the device driving this pin. It is also one parameter that sets the speed of the digital circuit. Generally, smaller is better.

Power dissipation capacitance is a new one to me, too.

Could you point out the use of "Cpd" on a datasheet or something?
I know of 2 ways to use that but I don't know exactly what you need.
