Default time constant for RLC circuit?

hi. can someone tell me what is the time constant for a RLC(resistor-inductor-capacitor) circuit please.

You may want to review the material in this chapter on RLC circuits. It is a good source of useful information on parallel and series RLC circuits.

Wikipedia does a good job of the RLC circuit in its article.

I am also moving this to a more appropriate forum.
