Default Half bridge drive circuit

Dear friends,
This is Pavan . I am doing "250W/10A Off Line SMPS" project
For this i selected "Half-Bridge" topology & i am using IRF830 Mosfets. Here problem is ,the "on" time of the Mosfets(which is 46% duty cycle) are not fallowing the drive circuit "ON "time(which is 20% duty cycle). And also i abserved that there is a voltage spike about 3V at both sides of pulse which is from pulse transformer. So please send me a solution for this

with regards
P.Pavan Prasad

What is the frequency? Are you attempting to drive the mosfet too fast?

I assume that you are using pulse transformer to drive the gate of IRF830. The problem should be with the gate drive circuit. With more details I may be able to help you. What is the PWM controller used & what is the gate drive used?
