Laplace Transform

Hi all,

Just wanting to check my answer here.

I need to take the laplace transform of:

v * d(x2(t) - x1(t))/dt

I calculated this as vsX2(s) - sX1(s). Just wanting to make sure this is correct, thanks.

Don't forget to include the initial values of x2 and x1 :

v[sX2(s) - sX1(s) - x2(0) + x1(0)]

They're both zero.

Haha - wish all problems were as easy as that!

One of the several advantages of using the Laplace transform (compared with standard methods for solution of differential equations) is the initial conditions are "wired in" at the start.
