Unhappy window can't install USB-JTAG driver

hey guys,
I have purchased Spartan 3e starter kit from digilent. Acording to the user guide my windows should automatically detect and install USB-JTAG driver. But my windows try and fail to do so.What should i do now. I am using windows 7 Ultimate edition.

downgrade your os to XP or Vista, or install Linux, there is no support for that device in 7....... you should have looked at the supported operating systems before purchasing and installing...

Windows 7 comes with XP mode I believe, you just need to download it

It's worth a try, saves installing XP (unless you already have a HDD with it on)

Yes, email the manufacturer of the starter kit and tell them to put out a version that supports Windows 7 ... it is not that windows 7 can not run the app, it's the app can't run in windows 7..... seems odd that the OS always get blamed for the apps shortcomings...
