Hi

I m working on a waveform generator using AD9833, Outputs three types
Square , Sine and Triangular. The sq wave output is a fixed 5V with programmable (Variable) frequency.
But, what I need is a Variable Voltage Square wave output ( 0.5V to 5V ) up to 1 MHZ.

Please suggest.

Run the signal thru a op amp unity gain voltage follower with an attenuator on the input. Make sure the amp is fast enough to not round the signal ( 10 meg hz or more ).
This is on the fast side for op amps, but should work.

Russ, you're on the right track, but an even faster opamp is required. A square wave is the sum of all the odd harmonics of the fundamental frequency.
