Who has the fastest network speed? The word I'm getting from insiders is that Sprint has the fastest speeds with ATT-Cingular next and Verizon last.

I would agree with that assessment. At least in the Baltimore area. The ATT network is packed with bandwidth hogging Iphones. They are trying to upgrade, but it is problematic. And with the release of the IPad, Files are going to be larger, leading to increased loads on their network. Sprint has always had the fewest bottlenecks because they never (at least with their PCS) used analog components in their network. Verizon has also had network hiccups often. Some of their home phone and DSL bandwidth is transfered to their cellular network for congestion problems.
